Good to know:Â
It takes four months for a pumpkin to fully ripen. Seeds are planted in late spring, as the plant canât handle frost.Â
The summer and early autumn heat helps the fruit grow and mature. Itâs harvested in mid-autumn. The harder the skin, the longer it will last. Pumpkins should be stored in a dry place, around 10â (5).
🎃 For Halloween, donât waste the insides of your pumpkins! Keep them intact and decorate just the outside insteadâit looks just as great! Â
If youâve got lots of pumpkins at home, cut them into pieces and freeze them.
